Kindergarten Teacher

About the role

The Kindergarten Teacher will create a safe, stimulating, and developmentally appropriate learning environment for young learners at GEMS Legacy School. You will deliver high‑quality early years instruction, foster creativity, and support each child’s holistic development in line with GEMS Education standards and KHDA requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, play‑based lessons aligned with the Early Years curriculum.
• Maintain a safe, positive, and well‑organized classroom that encourages independence and respectful behaviour.
• Monitor individual progress and provide targeted support to meet each child’s learning and developmental needs.
• Collaborate with colleagues and school leadership, participating in meetings and professional development.
• Communicate regularly with parents, sharing updates on student progress and building strong relationships.

Required profile

• Teaching qualification (B.Ed., PGCE, CACHE Level 3 or equivalent).
• KHDA approval or ability to obtain it.
• 1–2 years of experience in an Early Years or Kindergarten setting, preferably in the UAE.
• Familiarity with EYFS, play‑based learning, and inquiry‑driven classrooms.
