Kitchen & Laundry Technician

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Kitchen & Laundry Technician to join the Rixos Al Mairid team in Ras Al‑Khaimah. You will ensure that both the kitchen and laundry areas remain clean, functional and compliant with health and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Operate, clean and maintain kitchen and laundry equipment such as dishwashers, washing machines, dryers and cooking appliances.
• Perform daily cleaning and sanitising of all kitchen and laundry zones according to established schedules.
• Monitor cleaning‑supply inventory and report shortages to supervisors.
• Assist in the proper storage and organisation of utensils, linens and other supplies.
• Conduct routine equipment inspections and report any malfunctions or maintenance needs.
• Collaborate with kitchen and housekeeping teams to ensure smooth workflow and timely task completion.
• Adhere to all relevant health, safety and hygiene regulations.
• Support training of new staff on equipment operation and cleaning procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of cleaning activities, equipment maintenance and inventory.

Required profile

• Physical stamina for standing, walking and lifting for extended periods.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Food‑safety certification preferred.
• Previous experience in kitchen or laundry operations, especially in hospitality, is a plus.
• Familiarity with UAE health and safety regulations is beneficial.
