Kitchen Steward

About the role

One&Only Resorts is seeking a Kitchen Steward to join the Stewarding team at One&Only The Palm in Dubai. The role supports daily kitchen operations by maintaining cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of all kitchen areas, equipment and utensils.

Key responsibilities

• Wash, sanitize and store all kitchen equipment, utensils and dishes.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen floors, walls, counters and workstations.
• Clean and maintain dishwashing machines and related equipment.
• Assist chefs by providing clean tools and equipment during service.
• Stock kitchen stations with clean cutlery, pots and pans.
• Support setup and breakdown of banquet events or buffets.
• Dispose of kitchen waste properly and follow recycling guidelines.
• Organize storage areas for equipment, rooms and cleaning supplies.
• Report equipment malfunctions or shortages to the Stewarding Supervisor.
• Follow HACCP, sanitation protocols and use PPE as required.

Required profile

• 1–2 years experience in a 5‑star hotel, resort or high‑volume kitchen.
• Solid knowledge of kitchen hygiene and sanitation standards.
• Well‑presented, reliable and able to work in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.
• Good English communication skills; additional language is an advantage.
