Kitchen Technician – Dubai

About the role

Avani Hotels & Resorts is looking for a skilled Kitchen Technician to join its Dubai property. You will ensure that all kitchen equipment operates reliably, supporting smooth food service for guests.

Key responsibilities

• Perform regular maintenance and repairs on ovens, refrigerators, dishwashers, food processors and other commercial kitchen appliances.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment failures, providing timely solutions.
• Conduct routine inspections to spot potential issues before breakdowns occur.
• Install new kitchen equipment, calibrate settings, and verify proper operation.
• Maintain safety protocols and adhere to food service regulations.
• Manage spare‑part inventory and keep accurate maintenance records.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff to minimise disruption during service hours.
• Respond quickly to emergency repair requests.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of experience maintaining commercial kitchen equipment.
• Valid food safety certification (e.g., ServSafe).
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and ability to work under pressure.
