L2 Voice & Security Engineer (Contract)

About the role

A recruitment partner is hiring an L2 Engineer for Voice and Security Solutions on behalf of a major client. The position is a 1-year, extendable, outsourced contract based in Abu Dhabi, UAE, with immediate joiners or up to 15-30 days' notice.

Required profile

• 4-7 years of experience in System Integration, Professional Services or Enterprise ICT.
• Experience implementing and supporting enterprise voice collaboration solutions and enterprise network security solutions.
• Experience supporting enterprise customers with 5,000+ users.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related discipline; a Master's degree is an added advantage.

Required skills

• Voice: CUCM, Unity Connection, Expressway, Emergency Responder, CUBE, Voice Gateways, UCCX/UCCE, Finesse, IM & Presence, SIP, H.323, MGCP, SRST, dial plans, route patterns, device pools, media resources, SBC, Webex Calling & Control Hub, Meeting Server, Microsoft Teams Direct Routing, call recording platforms.
• Security: Fortinet, Palo Alto Networks, Check Point, Cisco ASA & Firepower, IPSec & SSL VPN, NAC (ISE, ClearPass, 802.1X, TACACS+, RADIUS), threat prevention, web filtering, application control.
• Networking: LAN/WAN, routing and switching, OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, VLANs, QoS, STP, HSRP/VRRP, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP.
• Tools: Wireshark, Cisco RTMT, Cisco DNA/Catalyst Center, Syslog, SolarWinds, PRTG, ManageEngine OpManager.
• Vendor certifications (Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, Check Point, Aruba or Microsoft) preferred.
