Lab Instructor - Engineering (Aviation)

About the role

The Lab Instructor – Engineering (Aviation) will deliver lectures and assessments for diploma‑level courses while managing HCT laboratories and workshops. The role combines classroom teaching with hands‑on support, ensuring equipment is installed, demonstrated, maintained and troubleshooted.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver lectures, assessments and practical sessions for engineering diploma programs.
• Set up laboratories, install and maintain equipment, and keep detailed maintenance logs.
• Provide technical assistance to faculty and students during workshops and projects.
• Maintain consumable inventories, ensure safety protocols, and support purchasing of project parts.
• Act as a student advisor and mentor, contributing to extracurricular and community activities.

Required profile

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree; membership in a relevant professional body is desirable.
• At least 3 years of relevant engineering or industrial experience.
• Proficiency in English (Arabic advantageous) and strong communication skills.
• Previous short‑span teaching or lab instruction experience is preferred.
