Laboratory Supervisor – IVF Embryology

About the role

We are seeking a Laboratory Supervisor to lead our IVF embryology unit at Mediclinic Middle East in Al Ain. The successful candidate will combine hands‑on expertise with leadership to ensure the highest standards of clinical and laboratory performance in assisted reproductive technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all embryology procedures including ICSI, embryo culture, fertilization, embryo assessment and transfer.
• Manage cryopreservation, thawing and embryo biopsy workflows.
• Supervise and mentor junior laboratory staff, providing training and performance feedback.
• Maintain laboratory equipment, environment and compliance with international quality standards.
• Document all processes, perform quality assurance checks and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate closely with physicians and clinical teams to optimise patient outcomes.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Clinical Embryology or Reproductive Sciences.
• DHA/MOH/DOH licence as Embryologist.
• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience in an IVF laboratory.
• Proven ability to lead a team and train junior staff.
