Land Surveyor – Building & Villas Projects

About the role

The Land Surveyor will lead all site surveying activities for building and villa construction projects, ensuring precise setting‑out, leveling and control in line with approved drawings and authority standards.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out setting‑out, leveling and alignment for foundations, slabs, columns, walls, beams and structural grids.
• Establish and maintain horizontal and vertical control points on site.
• Perform topographic surveys, site verification and pre‑construction measurements.
• Check excavation, backfilling and finished floor levels against design specifications.
• Interpret architectural, structural and MEP drawings to ensure accurate execution.
• Prepare survey reports, field notes and as‑built documentation.
• Coordinate with site engineers, consultants and subcontractors to resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain, calibrate and operate surveying equipment such as Total Station, Auto Level and GPS.
• Support handover documentation and final as‑built verification for authority approvals.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Land Surveying or related field.
• 3–6 years of experience as a Land Surveyor on construction projects, preferably building and villa projects in the UAE/GCC.
• Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings and coordinates.
• Good understanding of construction sequencing and site execution methods.
• Familiarity with UAE construction standards and authority requirements is an advantage.
