Land Surveyor – Railway Project

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Land Surveyor to join a major railway infrastructure project in Abu Dhabi. The role involves delivering accurate topographical, setting‑out and as‑built surveys while ensuring compliance with project drawings and specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out topographical, setting‑out and as‑built surveys for railway and civil works.
• Establish and maintain survey control points, benchmarks and coordinate networks throughout the site.
• Perform precise setting‑out for track alignment, earthworks, roads, bridges, drainage and utilities.
• Conduct level, alignment, coordinate and elevation checks against approved drawings.
• Interpret IFC, shop and alignment drawings and integrate survey data.
• Verify construction works against design coordinates, levels and tolerances.
• Prepare survey reports, calculations, field records and as‑built documentation.
• Coordinate with site engineers, construction managers, QA/QC and technical office teams.
• Monitor equipment calibration and ensure proper maintenance of surveying instruments.

Required profile

• Minimum 5–8 years of surveying experience on railway, metro, road or large‑scale civil projects.
• Proven ability to work with total stations, GPS/GNSS, digital levels and related equipment.
• Strong knowledge of surveying procedures, construction tolerances and quality standards.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering, alignment and survey drawings.
• Immediate or short‑notice availability is preferred.
