Landscape Draftsman (Sharjah)

About the role

The Landscape Draftsman will create and maintain accurate landscape drawings and technical documentation for project execution. Working closely with design, engineering and site teams, you will ensure drawings reflect actual site conditions and project requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed shop, construction, working and as‑built drawings for hardscape, softscape, irrigation, drainage, site furniture and related works.
• Translate design concepts, specifications and engineering requirements into clear, constructible drawings.
• Coordinate landscape drawings with architectural, civil, structural, MEP and irrigation disciplines.
• Update drawings based on site conditions, design changes, consultant comments and construction requirements.
• Maintain drawing registers, revision records and document control in line with project standards.
• Support the site team with technical clarifications and provide final handover and as‑built packages.

Required profile

• Diploma or bachelor's degree in civil engineering, Landscape Architecture, Architectural Drafting or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Landscape Draftsman, preferably with a developer or landscape contracting firm.
• Strong practical experience in preparing landscape shop drawings, construction drawings and as‑built documentation.
• Proven ability to coordinate drawings with engineers, consultants and construction teams.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD (essential).
• Knowledge of Revit, Civil 3D, SketchUp or Adobe Creative Suite (advantage).
• Understanding of landscape design principles, construction detailing, materials and technical drawing standards.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural, civil, structural and MEP drawings.
