Landscape Inspector

About the role

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Landscape Inspector to join our team in Dubai. In this role you will ensure that landscape projects comply with design specifications, regulations and environmental standards.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular site inspections to verify that landscape construction follows approved plans and specifications.
• Check grading, planting, irrigation and other landscape elements for correct installation and compliance.
• Ensure all installations meet local codes, zoning regulations, environmental ordinances, accessibility and safety standards.
• Review landscape plans, drawings and specifications to understand project requirements.
• Confirm that required permits and approvals are secured before construction starts.
• Monitor material quality and address any deviations from approved plans.
• Collaborate with inspectors, contractors, landscape architects and project managers to resolve issues.
• Maintain detailed inspection records, including photos and reports of non‑compliance.
• Stay updated on changes to design standards, construction techniques and relevant regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor degree or diploma in Landscape, Irrigation, Horticulture, Agriculture or a related engineering discipline from an accredited university.
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in construction supervision of landscape and/or irrigation works.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD.
