Laundry Attendant

About the role

Kerzner International is recruiting a Laundry Attendant to join the Housekeeping team at One&Only The Palm Resort in Dubai. The role keeps the resort's linen, uniforms and guest laundry clean, processed and presented to the highest standards, while maintaining an organised and efficient laundry operation and supporting daily operations.

Key responsibilities

• Process and handle all laundry items, including linens, uniforms and guest clothing, with care and efficiency.
• Sort, wash, dry, press and fold items according to company standards and fabric requirements.
• Ensure items are clean, well-presented and delivered on time.
• Operate and maintain laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
• Monitor the quality of cleaned items and report any damage or irregularities.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the laundry area, replenish supplies and keep adequate stock levels.
• Follow hygiene, sanitation and safety procedures, and report equipment problems to the supervisor.
• Store and handle linens, uniforms and guest laundry properly, keeping guest confidentiality.
• Adhere to company grooming standards and uniform requirements.

Required profile

• 1-2 years of experience in a luxury 5-star hotel or resort.
• Knowledge of laundry operations, fabric care and hygiene standards.
• Detail-oriented, a team player, able to process linen and garments to a high standard.
• Good English communication skills; additional languages are an advantage.
