Laundry Supervisor

About the role

The Laundry Supervisor leads the resort’s laundry and uniform operations, ensuring a consistent supply of clean, high‑quality linens and uniforms for guests and staff. This position reports to the Housekeeping Manager and plays a key part in maintaining the resort’s luxury standards.

Key responsibilities

• Direct laundry and uniform personnel to meet cleanliness and quality standards.
• Perform laundry activities in line with health and safety regulations.
• Recruit, train, schedule, counsel and evaluate staff members.
• Maintain laundry equipment and facilities in optimal condition.
• Manage departmental finances, including budgeting, purchasing, payroll, forecasting and inventory control.
• Report operational progress and issues to the Housekeeping Manager or Executive Housekeeper.
• Supervise outsourced laundry services and ensure compliance with quality procedures.
• Control chemical usage, storage and environmental procedures.
• Handle guest concerns related to laundry services and follow up as needed.
• Conduct monthly communication meetings and promote teamwork across departments.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising laundry or housekeeping teams in a hotel or resort environment.
• Strong knowledge of laundry equipment, chemicals and health‑standard procedures.
• Ability to manage budgets, inventory and financial processing.
• Excellent leadership, communication and staff‑development skills.
