Laundry Supervisor

About the role

Rixos Al Mairid is looking for a highly organized Laundry Supervisor to manage daily laundry operations, ensuring the highest standards of hygiene, quality, and guest satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate laundry attendants to maintain efficient service.
• Oversee sorting, washing, drying, ironing, folding and distribution of linens and guest laundry.
• Monitor equipment performance and report maintenance issues.
• Conduct quality checks on linens, uniforms and guest laundry.
• Manage inventory of detergents, chemicals and supplies.
• Implement eco‑friendly practices to reduce water, energy and chemical waste.
• Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene and infection‑control standards.
• Provide training on machine operation, safety protocols and service excellence.
• Collaborate with housekeeping, uniform and linen departments for smooth operations.
• Maintain accurate records of operations, maintenance logs and performance reports.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality or textile management certification is a plus.
• 2‑4 years experience in hotel or commercial laundry, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
• Strong leadership, communication and problem‑solving abilities.
• Attention to detail and commitment to high cleanliness standards.

Required skills

• Operation and troubleshooting of industrial laundry machines.
• Knowledge of laundry chemicals, fabric care and proper handling of soiled linens.
• Inventory management for detergents and supplies.
