Laundry Supervisor

About the role

The Laundry Supervisor will lead the daily operations of the laundry department at Rixos Al Mairid, ensuring high standards of hygiene, quality, and guest satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate laundry attendants to maintain efficient service.
• Oversee sorting, washing, drying, ironing, and folding processes.
• Monitor equipment functionality and report maintenance issues.
• Conduct quality checks on linens, uniforms, and guest laundry.
• Manage inventory of detergents, chemicals, and supplies.
• Coordinate guest laundry, dry‑cleaning, and pressing services.
• Implement eco‑friendly practices to reduce water, energy, and chemical waste.
• Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and infection‑control standards.
• Provide training on best practices, machine operation, and safety.
• Collaborate with housekeeping, uniform, and linen departments.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality or textile management diploma is a plus.
• 2‑4 years of experience in hotel or commercial laundry, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
• Strong leadership, attention to detail, and communication skills.
• Ability to solve operational problems quickly while maintaining service excellence.

Required skills

• Knowledge of laundry chemicals and fabric care.
• Proficiency in operating industrial laundry machines.
