L&D Data Analyst – UAE National

About the role

Amazon is a data‑driven organization that relies on metrics to improve continuously. The L&D Data Analyst will work closely with Learning & Development teams in the United Arab Emirates to turn complex data sets into actionable insights that support program effectiveness and business decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain data collection processes and management systems for L&D initiatives.
• Design, write and execute SQL queries to extract, transform and load data for reporting.
• Create visualisations and dashboards using Tableau and Amazon QuickSight to support weekly and quarterly business reviews.
• Build automation scripts in Python to streamline recurring analyses.
• Prepare and publish standard reports for leadership reviews, highlighting trends and root‑cause findings.
• Partner with L&D leadership to interpret data, provide recommendations and support project‑based analytical work.

Required profile

• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present findings clearly.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Fluency in English (reading, writing and speaking).
