Lead Architect

About the role

The Lead Architect will translate design intent into detailed technical deliverables and coordinate architectural works across design and construction phases. Working closely with the Design Manager, Principal Architect, consultants and site teams, you will ensure accurate, fully coordinated drawings and oversee their implementation on‑site.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and produce architectural drawings, including shop drawings, from schematic through detailed design.
• Ensure drawings reflect design intent, project requirements and UAE regulatory standards.
• Coordinate with MEP, structural and façade consultants to integrate all disciplines.
• Conduct technical reviews of all architectural documentation for precision and clarity.
• Review and validate contractor‑submitted shop drawings for compliance with specifications.
• Identify and resolve coordination clashes and inconsistencies.
• Manage timely delivery of design packages and revisions according to project schedules.
• Oversee transition from design to construction, ensuring correct on‑site implementation.
• Attend site inspections, meetings and provide technical support to site teams.

Required profile

• 8‑10 years of architectural practice with a strong technical delivery background.
• Proven experience on large‑scale residential or mixed‑use developments in the UAE.
• In‑depth knowledge of UAE building codes, regulations and authority approval processes.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture; professional registration preferred.
• Fluent in English; Arabic is an advantage.
