Lead Commercial Manager – Projects

About the role

We are seeking an experienced commercial leader to drive strategic project sales across the Middle East for Roll Group, a specialist in heavy cargo transport and lifting. The role will focus on EPC clients, major capital projects and complex land and maritime transport solutions, acting as the local focal point for strategic opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead major project sales opportunities and develop the regional project pipeline.
• Support and guide the commercial team, including tendering and project‑sales support.
• Research and track regional project opportunities together with global teams.
• Prepare sales strategies, maintain accurate CRM, SOB and reporting.
• Develop and maintain key accounts and strategic client relationships, especially with EPCs.
• Support proposals, commercial negotiations and contract follow‑up.
• Coordinate with local subcontractors and act as a commercial consultant for technical solutions.
• Represent Roll Group in industry forums and oversee post‑sale handover to Project Managers.

Required profile

• Entrepreneurial, proactive and commercially driven mindset.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Logistics, Marketing or a related field.
• Proven experience in project sales and business development, preferably within EPC or heavy‑lift logistics.
