Lead Construction Brownfield Site Engineer (Offshore Water Injection Project)

About the role

The Lead Construction Brownfield Site Engineer will plan, coordinate and oversee all brownfield construction activities for an offshore water injection project, ensuring safe and efficient execution within existing offshore facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate brownfield construction activities offshore, including modifications to water injection systems and related infrastructure.
• Manage installation, replacement and modification of process piping, water injection pumps and skids, valves, pressure equipment, structural steel, electrical, instrumentation and control systems, and mechanical packages.
• Act as primary interface between construction, operations, commissioning, engineering and contractor teams, facilitating daily execution and communication.
• Review schedules, work packs and constructability, coordinate manpower, equipment, materials and logistics, and monitor progress against milestones.
• Champion HSE compliance, conduct toolbox talks, safety walkdowns and incident investigations.
• Supervise EPC contractors and subcontractors, monitor performance, and ensure quality and documentation compliance.
• Support pre‑commissioning, commissioning and start‑up activities, close out punch items and hand over to operations.

Required profile

• 18‑22 years of experience in the oil & gas industry, with 5‑7 years in the offshore sector.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Civil, Structural, Electrical, Marine or related engineering discipline.
• Professional engineering registration or equivalent certification preferred.
• Relevant offshore construction and project management certifications (e.g., PMP, BOSIET/FOET, H2S Awareness, offshore safety training).
