Lead Corrosion and Materials Engineer (PMC)

About the role

Lead corrosion and materials engineering activities for Oil & Gas projects, ensuring proper material selection, corrosion prevention, and compliance with project specifications and standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead corrosion assessments, materials selection, and mitigation activities for Oil & Gas projects.
• Review and verify engineering deliverables, material specifications, and corrosion control procedures.
• Ensure compliance with project requirements, international standards, and Saudi Aramco specifications.
• Coordinate with the Client, EPC contractors, and multidisciplinary teams to resolve technical issues.
• Provide technical guidance on corrosion prevention, inspection, and asset integrity throughout project execution.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Materials, Metallurgical, Chemical, Mechanical, or related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 12 years of engineering experience, at least 8 years in Oil & Gas.
• At least 5 years of experience in corrosion and materials engineering.
• Strong PMC experience on major capital projects, preferably upstream or gas processing facilities.
• Experience on Saudi Aramco projects and Middle East projects is an advantage.
