Lead Engineer – Networking

About the role

Lead Engineer – Networking will design, implement, integrate, test, optimise and support secure network infrastructure for large‑scale security, surveillance, defence and critical‑infrastructure projects.

Key responsibilities

• Design and architect secure IP‑based network infrastructures for security and surveillance solutions.
• Develop networking solutions that meet operational, cybersecurity, scalability, performance and availability requirements.
• Integrate sensors, radars, cameras, VMS, command centres, access‑control and RF systems with C4ISR platforms.
• Conduct network integration, testing, troubleshooting, performance optimisation and acceptance activities.
• Prepare design documentation, implementation plans, technical specifications and engineering deliverables.
• Collaborate with internal teams, external vendors and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards, security policies and industry best practices.
• Provide technical mentorship and leadership to engineering teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Network Engineering, IT, Telecommunications or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in network engineering, design, implementation and support.
• Professional fluency in English and Spanish.

Required skills

• IP networking, routing, switching and network security principles.
• Enterprise‑grade networking technologies and multi‑vendor integration.
• Experience with C4ISR, command‑and‑control, surveillance and defence environments.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, secure network architectures and defence‑in‑depth.
• Familiarity with RF systems, access‑control platforms, video management systems and sensor integration.
• Industry certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, JNCIP, JNCIE, CISSP (or equivalent).
