Lead Management Coordinator – Event Industry

About the role

The Lead Management Coordinator drives business growth in the exhibitions and events sector by overseeing lead generation, client outreach, CRM coordination, and bid administration. This position supports sales and business development teams to maintain a robust pipeline of qualified prospects.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and qualify leads through online research, industry directories, event databases, and social platforms.
• Conduct cold calls and email outreach to introduce services and engage decision‑makers.
• Support the sales team in converting qualified leads into active opportunities and monitor competitor activities.
• Promote upcoming exhibitions via email campaigns, telemarketing, and digital channels.
• Prepare and submit RFPs, RFQs, and tender documents, ensuring compliance with client specifications and deadlines.
• Complete vendor registration on government, corporate, and event portals, maintaining up‑to‑date profiles.
• Serve as primary contact for early‑stage clients, providing quotations, project updates, and fostering repeat participation.
• Maintain accurate CRM records, track lead progress, and generate reports for management.

Required profile

• Proven experience in lead generation, prospecting, and cold calling within the events or related industry.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple portals, procurement systems, and documentation.
• Excellent communication skills for client liaison and internal coordination.
• Detail‑oriented approach to ensure compliance with vendor registration and bid submission requirements.
