About the role

We are seeking a qualified Lead Officer – Budgeting & Reporting to join our Financial Planning & Analysis team in Abu Dhabi. The role supports financial planning, budgeting, reporting, modeling, variance analysis and business planning, working closely with project managers, controllers and senior finance leaders.

Key responsibilities

  • Prepare detailed financial models for pricing, budgeting, benchmarking and reporting.
  • Produce monthly management reports in coordination with Project Controllers and Project Managers.
  • Build strong relationships with Project Managers to provide financial insights on operations.
  • Research and draft executive summaries for senior management review.
  • Compile and analyse historical and current financial data to support the 5‑year company plan.
  • Coordinate budget formulation with HR, Project Managers and other departments.
  • Prepare budget monitoring reports and explain variances.
  • Support company‑wide budget implementation and periodic review of project and operating budgets.
  • Generate budget‑vs‑actual variance and comparative cost analysis reports.
  • Monitor administration costs against approved budgets and report to the CFO.
  • Assist in contract pricing activities and participate in process‑improvement projects.
  • Share knowledge with colleagues and perform other duties as assigned by the CFO.

Required profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting, finance, budgeting or reporting.
  • Professional accounting qualification (preferred) and CFA qualification (preferred).
  • Strong analytical, research and financial reporting abilities.
  • Effective communication with analysts, project managers, controllers, FP&A head and CFO.
  • Fluent in English; Arabic knowledge is a plus.
