About the role

KBR is seeking a Lead Planning Engineer for a PMC project in Abu Dhabi, focusing on NGL/Gas Processing. Reporting to the Project Control Manager, the role oversees planning, scheduling, progress monitoring, forecasting, and schedule risk analysis for the EPC Contractor.

Key responsibilities

• Lead PMC planning, scheduling and schedule‑control activities, reviewing EPC baseline and updates across engineering, procurement, construction, pre‑commissioning and commissioning.
• Perform critical‑path, float, variance and schedule‑trend analysis; monitor contractual milestones and provide independent completion forecasts.
• Lead schedule risk analysis, assess confidence levels for key milestones, and support delay, Time Impact Analysis and EOT assessments.
• Prepare weekly/monthly schedule reports, dashboards, milestone trackers and management presentations.
• Coordinate and lead PMC Planning and Project Controls personnel.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 18 years of planning, scheduling and project controls experience in Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industry.
• Minimum 5 years as Lead Planning Engineer on mega projects > USD 4 billion, with GCC experience and mandatory ADNOC PMC experience.
• PMP certification required.

Required skills

• Advanced hands‑on proficiency in Primavera P6.
• Strong knowledge of Deltek Acumen, Primavera Risk Analysis or Safran Risk.
• Working knowledge of Power BI and Microsoft Excel.
• Expertise in CPM, schedule health assessment, progress measurement, forecasting, recovery planning, delay analysis, TIA and EOT assessment.
