Lead Primary Teacher

About the role

The Lead Primary Teacher will join the academic leadership team of Elite Private School, supporting the Head of Primary in delivering high‑quality teaching and learning across the Primary phase. This role combines exemplary classroom practice with coaching responsibilities, aiming to raise standards of curriculum implementation and student achievement.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, inclusive lessons that drive outstanding student outcomes.
• Model best practice in the classroom and uphold professional conduct.
• Assist the Head of Primary with curriculum monitoring, evaluation and quality assurance.
• Observe, mentor and provide constructive feedback to teachers through lesson observations and learning walks.
• Analyse assessment data to inform teaching and support student progress.
• Contribute to staff professional development, collaborative planning and curriculum moderation.
• Maintain positive relationships with students, parents and colleagues while upholding safeguarding and behaviour policies.
• Support school events, inspections and other whole‑school initiatives as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field with a recognised teaching qualification.
• Minimum three years of experience in a primary teaching role, including leadership or coordinator responsibilities.
• Proven ability to mentor colleagues and drive continuous improvement.
• Strong knowledge of effective teaching strategies, curriculum planning and student‑centred assessment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to professional development and school improvement.
• Experience in an international or UAE school environment is an advantage.
