Lead Product Designer

About the role

Cercli is building an AI-native people platform to transform HR operations. We are looking for a Lead Product Designer to own the user experience of AI-driven interactions, guiding products from concept through launch and iteration.

Key responsibilities

• Own AI-native products end‑to‑end, leading design from discovery to launch and subsequent iterations.
• Design human‑AI collaboration flows, defining autonomy, input points, and control hand‑off.
• Build intuitive interfaces for approvals, undo, confidence indicators, and explanations to foster trust.
• Prototype with live LLM outputs to test latency, failures, and edge cases before engineering.
• Create robust patterns for imperfect AI output, including streaming, hallucination recovery, citations, feedback loops, and graceful fallbacks.
• Define and track success metrics for AI‑driven flows, analyze data, and iterate to improve activation and retention.
• Elevate the design system with AI‑specific patterns, conduct design critiques, and mentor future design talent.

Required profile

• 7+ years designing B2B or complex SaaS products, with senior or lead responsibility.
• Proven experience shipping at least one AI‑native product or major AI feature.
• Strong perspective on agent user experience, trust, transparency, and error recovery.
• Hands‑on prototyping experience with LLMs and close collaboration with engineers.
• Portfolio demonstrating design process, problem solving, and measurable outcomes.

Required skills

• Prototyping tools for LLMs such as Cursor, v0, Lovable, Claude, OpenAI API, Figma Make, or custom code.
• Design systems and systems thinking for dense, data‑heavy workflows.
• Product metrics analysis and experimentation.
• Front‑end development knowledge (React, Tailwind) is a plus.
