Lead QC Engineer

About the role

The Lead QC Engineer will join KBR’s Sustainable Technology Solutions team in Abu Dhabi, overseeing quality control for large‑scale NGL and gas processing projects. The role supports the delivery of mega FEED and EPC contracts, ensuring technical excellence across the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the quality control function for NGL/Gas Processing plant projects, from detailed engineering through to EPC execution.
• Develop and implement QC plans, procedures and inspection criteria aligned with project specifications and industry standards.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to resolve technical issues and ensure compliance with safety and quality requirements.
• Review and approve engineering deliverables, vendor documents and construction drawings.
• Monitor project progress, conduct audits, and report QC performance to senior management.

Required profile

• Minimum 18 years of experience in the oil & gas sector.
• Proven experience on mega FEED/EPC projects (>$1 billion) involving NGL or gas processing plants.
• Background in EPC and detailed engineering environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (any discipline).
