Lead SCM Specialist – Electrical

About the role

Subsea7 is seeking a Lead SCM Specialist – Electrical to manage procurement of engineered materials and services for an Oil & Gas project in Dubai. You will be accountable for delivering materials and services meeting technical, safety, budget, schedule and quality requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate pre‑award activities, prepare RFQs in SAP Ariba, and evaluate bids with engineering, QA/QC and HSE teams.
• Manage award processes, prepare contracts, create purchase orders in SAP and update the project procurement plan.
• Oversee post‑award execution, monitor supplier performance, handle technical queries, deviations and non‑compliance, and report progress to the Project SCM Manager.

Required profile

• Degree in Engineering or Business or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 12 years of supply chain management experience, including vendor qualification, RFQ issuance and PO follow‑up.
• Aramco experience for topside electrical works (switchgear, transformers, cables, etc.).

Required skills

• SAP Ariba for RFQ and supplier management.
• SAP for purchase order creation and tracking.
• Vendor qualification and supplier performance evaluation.
