Lead Solution Architect

About the role

Wasl is looking for a Lead Solution Architect to play a key part in its digital transformation. The role designs, governs and implements enterprise solution architectures that connect cloud and on-premises platforms, defines architecture standards, integration patterns, cloud strategies and API governance, and leads initiatives on platforms such as Salesforce, SAP S/4HANA and other business applications. It reports to the Head of Enterprise Architecture & Planning.

Key responsibilities

• Design and maintain enterprise solution architectures and develop blueprints, reference architectures and solution patterns.
• Develop cloud architecture strategies and lead adoption of cloud-native, hybrid and multi-cloud solutions.
• Set API and integration standards, policies and governance frameworks, covering lifecycle management, security and reuse.
• Integrate Salesforce, SAP S/4HANA, HR, Finance, Leasing, Sales and other platforms, enabling automation, workflow orchestration and unified customer experiences.
• Ensure compliance with security standards, data privacy regulations and governance requirements, and lead data integration, synchronization, transformation and governance.
• Provide architecture recommendations that optimise technology investment and reduce technical debt, and work with system integrators, vendors and cloud providers.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field; Master's preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in IT, solution, integration or cloud architecture, with proven blueprinting experience.
• Strong expertise in Salesforce, SAP S/4HANA and enterprise platform integration.
• Experience with MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, Apache Camel, Azure Logic Apps or similar, and API platforms such as Apigee, Kong or AWS API Gateway.
• Knowledge of security, compliance, data governance and integration best practices.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, problem-solving and leadership skills.
