Lean & Productivity AVP / Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Lean & Productivity professional to lead enterprise‑wide transformation, operational excellence and productivity improvement initiatives across our insurance, healthcare and financial services businesses.

Key responsibilities

• Lead Lean, Operational Excellence and productivity improvement projects across multiple functions.
• Conduct Gemba walks, value‑stream mapping, root‑cause analysis and Kaizen events to identify bottlenecks and waste.
• Drive improvements in turnaround time, service level agreements, throughput, cost and quality.
• Implement daily management systems, visual management, tiered huddles and standard work.
• Develop and maintain SOPs, process maps and governance frameworks.
• Coach leaders and teams on Lean methodologies and structured problem‑solving.
• Utilise Power BI, Tableau, process‑mining and workflow‑automation tools to increase performance visibility.

Required profile

• 8‑10 years of experience in Lean transformation, operational excellence or productivity improvement.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Process Management or a related field.
• Proven track record of leading large‑scale Lean transformation projects in regulated industries.
• Strong stakeholder and change‑management experience, including interaction with senior leadership.

Required skills

• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (or Master Black Belt) certification.
• Hands‑on knowledge of Kaizen, VSM, 5S, A3, standard work and root‑cause analysis.
• Experience with digital Lean tools and workflow automation platforms such as ARIS, HOPEX, Mindzie, Signavio, MEGA, Celonis.
• Proficiency in data‑visualisation tools like Power BI and Tableau.
• Familiarity with process‑mining, BPM and agile/scrum or PMP methodologies.
