Learning and Development Manager

About the role

Hilton is hiring a Learning and Development Manager for its DoubleTree by Hilton Resort and Spa Marjan Island in Ras Al Khaimah. The role builds a culture of continuous learning and develops future leaders so that team members and leaders can deliver exceptional guest experiences and a high-performing, engaged workforce.

Key responsibilities

• Drive a culture of continuous learning by identifying development needs and delivering learning solutions that support business success and guest experiences.
• Build a talent pipeline through performance management, succession planning, career development and leadership growth initiatives.
• Partner with leaders on goal setting, coaching, development planning and ongoing feedback.
• Design and run learning programs covering operational excellence, service delivery, compliance and leadership capability.
• Support career progression, cross-training and internal mobility to encourage retention.
• Monitor learning effectiveness using data, feedback and performance insights.
• Ensure learning records, certifications and training meet Hilton brand standards, company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with department leaders to align learning and talent initiatives with operational priorities.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a Learning & Development leadership role within hospitality.
• Previous Hilton experience preferred.
• Advantageous: hospitality coaching, training, facilitation or adult learning certifications (e.g. Hilton programs).
• Strong knowledge of performance management, succession planning, talent development and leadership capability building.
• Excellent facilitation, presentation, coaching and stakeholder management skills, with strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
