Legal Advisor – FMCG (Dubai)

About the role

Our client, a leading FMCG company in Dubai, is seeking an experienced Legal Advisor to provide comprehensive legal support across the business. The role focuses on contract management, commercial agreements, regulatory compliance and day‑to‑day legal advisory, working closely with procurement, finance, HR, sales and supply‑chain teams.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, negotiate and advise on a wide range of commercial agreements, including supplier, distributor, customer, agency, service, logistics, procurement, lease and partnership contracts.
• Manage the full contract lifecycle from drafting through execution, renewals, amendments and termination, while identifying and mitigating contractual risks.
• Provide day‑to‑day legal advice to management on commercial and operational matters and ensure compliance with UAE laws and regulations relevant to FMCG operations.
• Monitor regulatory developments, support implementation of legal and compliance policies, and recommend practical risk‑mitigation measures.
• Advise on distribution, retail, marketing, advertising, promotions and product‑related arrangements, and review related marketing materials.
• Coordinate with external counsel on litigation, regulatory matters and specialist issues as required.
• Support corporate documentation, board and shareholder matters, and review employment, procurement and finance agreements.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of legal experience, preferably in UAE and within FMCG, consumer, retail or manufacturing environments.
• Strong knowledge of UAE commercial law, regulatory frameworks and contract law.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional business teams.
• Excellent analytical, drafting and negotiation skills.
