Legal Counsel – Dubai (Saudi Arabia dual employment)

About the role

Teneo is seeking an experienced Legal Counsel to join its global legal team. Based in Dubai, the role supports the Strategy & Communications, Consulting, Financial Advisory, Risk Advisory and People Advisory businesses, as well as corporate functions. The Counsel will report to the Deputy General Counsel in Washington, DC, and will work closely with the London and US legal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including professional services, data processing, vendor supply and confidentiality agreements.
• Update and create template documents to ensure consistency across the organisation.
• Provide day‑to‑day legal advice to internal clients and external counterparties, balancing commercial considerations with legal risk.
• Monitor regional legal and regulatory developments to maintain compliance.
• Support data protection initiatives and governance processes.
• Assist with corporate matters such as group reorganisations, entity incorporation, company secretarial work, and related notarisation processes.

Required profile

• Qualified lawyer with approximately 5 years post‑qualification experience, including in‑house work for a multinational organisation.
• Demonstrated experience drafting and negotiating contracts in the UAE or broader Middle East region.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain legal concepts to non‑legal stakeholders.
• Highly organised, able to manage competing priorities and tight deadlines.
• Practical, solutions‑oriented mindset with a commercial focus.
