About the role
The Legal Secretary provides essential administrative and client‑focused support to the lawyers at M&CO Legal, ensuring smooth day‑to‑day operations and high‑quality service delivery.
Key responsibilities
- Provide administrative assistance to lawyers, manage calendars, schedule meetings and coordinate appointments.
- Handle correspondence, emails and phone calls professionally, and maintain physical and electronic filing systems.
- Liaise with clients, coordinate document submissions, support corporate transactions including due‑diligence, and arrange notarisation, legalization and attestation of documents.
- Assist with time entry, billing and expense tracking, maintain invoice records and follow up on payments.
- Support onboarding of new clients, open files and ensure confidentiality of all legal and client information.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Administration, Law or a related field.
- At least 4 years of experience working in a law firm.
- Strong knowledge of legal documentation and corporate processes.
- Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
Required skills
- Proficiency in standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Office).
