Liaison & QA/QC Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Liaison & QA/QC Engineer to join our multidisciplinary team on a high‑profile hospital construction project in Abu Dhabi. The role blends quality assurance, site supervision, authority coordination and stakeholder liaison to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain project‑specific QA/QC plans, procedures and inspection processes.
• Conduct regular site inspections, review technical submittals, material approvals, method statements and test reports.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, clients and government authorities to obtain approvals, permits and resolve technical issues.
• Identify non‑conformities, issue NCRs and monitor corrective and preventive actions to closure.
• Maintain QA/QC records, inspection reports, quality logs and ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and relevant healthcare standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with at least 5 years of QA/QC, construction supervision or project liaison experience.
• Strong background in hospital or complex building projects and familiarity with UAE authority approval processes.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, ASTM, ACI, BS, FIDIC contracts and international codes.
• Excellent documentation, reporting and stakeholder management skills.
