Licensed Clinical Psychologist

About the role

A wellness campus is looking for a Licensed Clinical Psychologist to assess, diagnose and treat people facing psychological, emotional, behavioural and mental health challenges. The psychologist conducts assessments, develops and implements evidence-based treatment plans and provides individual, group or family therapy, working with multidisciplinary teams to support recovery and improve clients' quality of life.

Key responsibilities

• Provide psychological assessment, formulation and evidence-based interventions for adults in a multidisciplinary model of care.
• Deliver individual and group interventions using evidence-based approaches tailored to each client's needs.
• Contribute to planning, coordinating and reviewing each person's wellbeing and therapeutic programme.
• Give psychologically informed consultation and guidance to the residential service team, promoting trauma-informed, person-centred practice and effective risk management.
• Maintain clear, timely and legally robust clinical records and reports in line with service standards and information governance.
• Carry out routine outcome measurement and contribute to audit, quality improvement, research and training where appropriate.
• Take part in clinical governance activities such as supervision, reflective practice, incident learning, safeguarding and policy adherence.

Required profile

• BSc or BA in Psychology or a similar degree in the psychology field.
• MSc or MA in Clinical Psychology or Counselling Psychology.
• US, European or UK-trained Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (DClinPsy / ClinPsyD).
• Arabic speaker is a must.
• At least 3 years of post-qualification experience working with adults in a psychology role.
• Candidates must meet the minimum requirement of the Department of Health PQR.
