Lifeguard – Resort Pool

About the role
The Lifeguard ensures the safety of guests at the resort pool by monitoring swimmers, responding to emergencies, and maintaining a clean, welcoming environment.
Key responsibilities
- Observe the swimming area for dangerous conditions, unsafe activities, and swimmers in distress.
- Perform rescue techniques and provide first‑aid assistance until emergency services arrive.
- Enforce pool rules, promote a fun atmosphere, and assist guests with disabilities.
- Maintain pool deck cleanliness, including washing, mopping, and towel management.
- Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions to management.
Required profile
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- CPR and First Aid certifications.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lb unaided and up to 75 lb with assistance.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, or run for extended periods.
