Lifeguard – Swimming Pool Safety Officer

About the role

We are seeking a vigilant Lifeguard to ensure the safety and enjoyment of guests at our swimming facilities. The successful candidate will monitor pool areas, respond swiftly to emergencies, and uphold the highest standards of hygiene and service in a hospitality environment.

Key responsibilities

• Continuously observe swimmers and intervene using appropriate rescue techniques when needed.
• Enforce pool rules, identify hazardous conditions, and report unsafe activities.
• Provide first‑aid, CPR, and AED assistance to injured guests until emergency services arrive.
• Maintain a clean and welcoming pool deck by folding towels, washing, mopping, and performing routine inspections.
• Document accidents, injuries, and safety concerns, and complete required safety training.
• Welcome guests courteously, ensure professional appearance, and assist individuals with disabilities.
• Support teammates, respect confidentiality, and protect company assets.

Required profile

• Valid UAE Lifeguard Certificate.
• Current First Aid, CPR, and AED certifications.
• Strong swimming and rescue abilities.
• Good command of English.
• Previous experience in 5‑star hotels, resorts or water parks is preferred.
• Physical capability to lift, carry, and move objects up to 50 kg and perform duties on slippery surfaces.

Required skills
