Lifting Operations Deck Foreman (Mobile Crane Experience)

About the role

EnerMech is seeking a Deck Foreman to lead lifting operations on client platforms in Abu Dhabi. The role involves planning, coordinating and executing crane lifts while ensuring safety and compliance with client procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, risk‑assess and supervise routine and non‑routine crane‑lifting operations on offshore platforms.
• Coordinate EnerMech riggers and ensure all personnel are competent, briefed and aware of their responsibilities.
• Manage client‑owned and supplied loose lifting equipment, maintain the equipment database and issuance register.
• Conduct banking/signalman duties and suspend lifts when conditions (e.g., wind) deviate from the lift plan.
• Ensure all statutory requirements, work permits and test certificates are in place before each lift.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a deck foreman or similar role in offshore lifting operations.
• Strong knowledge of crane selection, accessories and load integrity assessment.
• Ability to communicate clearly, brief teams and enforce safety standards.
• Familiarity with client lifting equipment campaigns and TPI inspections.
