About the role
The Lobby Lounge Barista will manage opening and closing operations for the lounge, ensuring a seamless guest experience. This role combines cash handling, POS operation, and high‑level customer service in a fast‑paced hotel environment.
Key responsibilities
- Perform full opening and closing duties, including setting up supplies, cleaning equipment, and securing the premises.
- Record all transactions in the MICROS system and generate accurate closing reports.
- Handle cash, count the bank at shift end, resolve discrepancies, and transport bank receipts securely.
- Provide courteous service to guests, address service needs, and assist individuals with disabilities.
- Communicate clearly with team members, answer phones professionally, and support a collaborative work environment.
Required profile
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- At least one year of relevant food‑and‑beverage experience.
Required skills
- Proficiency with the MICROS point‑of‑sale system.
- Cash handling and bank reconciliation skills.
