Logistics Coordinator – Dispatch & Fleet Management

About the role

The Logistics Coordinator manages daily dispatch execution, shift and sorting activities across last‑mile operations to ensure smooth operational flow in a high‑volume environment. The role acts as the link between fulfillment centre teams and delivery partners, guaranteeing effective route planning, correct routing, timely pickups and proper documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead dispatch planning and wave‑based schedules, coordinating delivery partners for pickups, vehicle placement and handovers.
• Carry out route planning and optimisation, including multi‑zone routes, to improve on‑time delivery and reduce cost per drop.
• Manage load, capacity and fleet coordination, matching parcel volumes to available vehicles and drivers.
• Monitor sorting accuracy, validate dispatch logsheets, pallet counts and handover documentation.
• Drive exception management (missing, damages, delays) through to resolution.
• Track driver performance, SLA compliance and vehicle utilisation, escalating gaps as needed.
• Maintain stakeholder communication and ensure scanning compliance on TMS/WMS.
• Own daily operational reporting using Excel dashboards and support shift leads in manpower management.

Required profile

• 2–4 years of experience in last‑mile or fulfillment centre operations.
• Hands‑on experience in route planning, dispatch planning and fleet coordination.
• Proven ability to manage high‑volume, wave‑based dispatch environments.
• Proficiency with TMS/WMS, scanning tools and basic systems.
• Strong Excel reporting skills (pivot tables, lookups, dashboards).
• Excellent coordination, documentation and stakeholder communication skills.
• Availability to work shifts, including peak periods and public holidays.
