Logistics Coordinator

About the role

The Logistics Coordinator will manage the movement of rental equipment such as AWP, earthmoving machines and scaffolding across yards, customer sites and maintenance facilities. The role ensures timely delivery, collection and availability of machinery while optimizing fleet utilization and controlling transport costs.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate daily transportation of rental equipment, including deliveries, replacements, relocations and collections.
• Optimize vehicle routing and load planning to reduce idle time and costs; monitor KPIs such as on‑time delivery rate and turnaround time.
• Collaborate with Sales, Service and Operations teams to align equipment availability with job schedules.
• Prepare and maintain logistics documentation (delivery notes, gate passes, movement permits) and ensure compliance with local transport regulations.
• Manage third‑party transporters, negotiate rates, track invoices and reconcile movements with billing.
• Monitor yard stock, coordinate internal transfers between branches and support physical audits of equipment.
• Generate weekly and monthly reports on movements, costs and utilization; propose process improvements.

Required profile

• 3–6 years of logistics experience in the rental or heavy‑equipment sector, preferably within the UAE.
• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business or a related field (preferred).
• Familiarity with inter‑branch equipment movements and ERP/logistics tracking systems.
• Strong coordination, communication and negotiation abilities.
