Logistics Coordinator

About the role

The client, a steel manufacturing company, is looking for an experienced Logistics Coordinator to manage the movement of incoming and outgoing steel products. The role requires strong knowledge of steel logistics, customs procedures, and inventory management.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and prepare shipping documentation to expedite deliveries.
• Serve as point of contact for emergency shipping, including after‑hours and weekend on‑call duties.
• Process inventory data, conduct cycle counts and resolve shipment issues.
• Generate delivery notes, plan delivery routes, select transport modes and monitor deliveries.
• Provide customer service support for delivery requests and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree (diploma in Supply Chain Management is a plus).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in material handling or logistics operations.
• Hands‑on experience with Hamriyah Customs; knowledge of Dubai Customs and E‑Mirsal.
• Strong organisational, analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work both independently and within a team.
