Logistics Executive

About the role

Fisher HR is hiring a Logistics Executive in Dubai. The role covers the order fulfillment and transportation cycle, from coordinating shipments through suppliers and freight forwarders to delivering goods to end users on time.

Key responsibilities

• Manage activities across the order fulfillment and transportation cycle so orders reach end users efficiently and on time.
• Streamline shipping and transportation processes to improve operational efficiency.
• Understand logistics procedures for materials entering and exiting Jebel Ali.
• Work with suppliers and freight forwarders to keep logistics running smoothly.
• Handle shipping documents for shipments from the Far East and Europe to the Middle East and Africa.
• Oversee shipment clearance in Jebel Ali and other GCC countries.
• Arrange transportation and coordinate delivery schedules with freight forwarders and customers.
• Communicate with suppliers, retailers and customers to secure profitable deals and mutual satisfaction.
• Plan and track the shipment of final products according to customer requirements.
• Maintain accurate logs of warehouse stock and executed orders (warehouse management).
• Prepare detailed reports for upper management.

Required profile

• Degree in a relevant field or certification in Logistics & Supply Chain.
• At least 5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Valid UAE driving licence is an added advantage.

Required skills

• Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in logistics software, particularly SAP.
• Knowledge of laws, regulations and ISO requirements, especially JAFZA.
