Logistics Manager – Dubai (Global FMCG Player)

About the role

This hands‑on Logistics Manager role supports a global fast‑moving consumer goods (FMCG) leader operating from Dubai. You will own end‑to‑end logistics performance, drive cost‑to‑serve reductions and build scalable processes as the business expands across the Middle East and Europe.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a logistics strategy that ensures efficient, cost‑effective, and scalable operations across a global supply chain.
• Manage freight, transportation, import/export, customs clearance and international distributor shipments.
• Oversee warehousing operations in Dubai and support the set‑up and management of future EU warehouses.
• Lead 3PL and vendor performance (warehouses, freight forwarders, carriers, customs brokers) with clear SLAs.
• Select carriers, negotiate contracts and rates, and drive measurable logistics cost reductions.
• Optimise shipping methods, routing, pallet configurations and transport solutions.
• Coordinate with suppliers, manufacturers and production teams to ensure product availability.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and visibility across owned and third‑party storage locations.
• Build KPI dashboards and monitor transport cost, warehouse efficiency, inventory accuracy, on‑time delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with import/export regulations and manage shipping documentation.
• Resolve delays, claims and complaints, and lead root‑cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Manage logistics budgets, freight spend forecasts and identify continuous‑improvement opportunities.

Required profile

• Proven logistics leadership experience in FMCG or similarly fast‑moving, multi‑SKU environments.
• Strong background in international shipping, customs, distributor deliveries and 3PL management.
• Commercial acumen in carrier selection, contract negotiation, rate management and cost optimisation.
• Warehouse and inventory control expertise with a focus on process, accuracy and KPI discipline.
• Data‑driven mindset capable of building reporting, spotting issues early and implementing sustainable improvements.
• Comfortable working in a growth environment with changing requirements and expansion plans.
