Logistics Manager - Infrastructure Projects

About the role

The Logistics Manager will lead planning, coordination and management of all logistics activities for large‑scale infrastructure projects, ensuring timely availability of materials, equipment, workforce access and temporary facilities throughout mobilisation, construction, commissioning and hand‑over.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the project Logistics Management Plan.
• Plan and coordinate site access, material deliveries, equipment movements, storage areas and temporary facilities.
• Manage construction access routes, temporary roads and haul routes, ensuring safe movement of vehicles and personnel.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, utility authorities, municipalities, police and other agencies to secure permits and coordinate road closures.
• Identify logistics‑related risks, ensure compliance with HSE and environmental regulations, and support emergency response planning.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management or a related discipline.
• Minimum 15 years of logistics management experience on major infrastructure or construction projects, preferably in the UAE.
• Proven experience coordinating with government authorities, utility providers, contractors and suppliers.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of construction logistics planning, supply chain management and traffic management.
• Proficiency with project scheduling tools such as Primavera P6 or MS Project.
• Advanced use of Microsoft Office and logistics/project management software.
