Logistics Manager – Recycling & Second‑Hand Goods

About the role

We are looking for a commercially driven Logistics Manager to lead end‑to‑end supply chain operations for a fast‑growing recycling and second‑hand goods company located in Al Hamriyah Free Zone, Sharjah. The successful candidate will have strong GCC logistics experience, especially within the UAE, and a proven track record in the recycling sector.

Key responsibilities

• Manage logistics and supply chain activities across the UAE and GCC region.
• Coordinate import/export shipments, customs clearance, and freight forwarding.
• Oversee logistics processes specific to recycled and second‑hand goods.
• Optimize logistics costs to improve profitability.
• Collaborate with transporters, shipping lines, suppliers, warehouses and clearing agents.
• Ensure compliance with UAE customs regulations and international shipping standards.
• Monitor inventory movement and guarantee timely delivery.
• Track logistics KPIs, shipment performance and operational expenses.
• Implement process improvements to boost efficiency.

Required profile

• 7–10 years of logistics/supply‑chain management experience.
• Strong GCC experience, preferably in the UAE.
• Mandatory experience in recycling or second‑hand goods (shoes, bags, textiles, etc.).
• Proven ability to manage logistics costs and profitability.
• Excellent communication skills in English; Arabic is a plus.
• Strong negotiation, vendor management and leadership abilities.
