Logistics & Shipping Coordinator

About the role

The Logistics & Shipping Coordinator will manage inbound and outbound shipments, ensure accurate documentation, and support customs compliance for manufacturing and operational projects. You will act as the central point of contact between suppliers, freight forwarders, and internal teams to guarantee smooth material flow.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate receipt of tools, materials, and equipment into the warehouse.
• Review and validate supplier shipping documents (commercial invoice, packing list, delivery documents).
• Prepare and verify shipping documentation for international and local dispatches, including packing lists, commercial invoices, delivery advice, export documents, and HS‑Code summaries.
• Support shipment booking, track movement, and follow up on delivery status.
• Maintain customs documentation (Bill of Entry, export paperwork) and ensure compliance with UAE and destination‑country regulations.
• Collaborate with warehouse staff for material receipt, inspection, and record keeping in ERP systems.
• Assist with audits and documentation traceability requirements.

Required profile

• 3–7 years of experience in logistics, shipping coordination, or supply‑chain operations.
• Background in manufacturing, oil & gas, or industrial environments is preferred.
• Familiarity with import/export procedures and customs processes in the UAE and globally.
• Knowledge of JAFZA logistics procedures.
