Logistics Specialist (Arabic Speaking Required)

About the role

The Logistics Specialist will oversee transportation, delivery, customs clearance and distribution for Dr. Scent’s retail locations across the UAE. Reporting to senior management, the role ensures timely, cost‑effective deliveries to malls, kiosks and warehouses while maintaining compliance with local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily vehicle movements and ensure on‑time deliveries to malls, kiosks and warehouses.
• Plan and optimise delivery routes to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
• Coordinate customs clearance for imported aroma oils, diffusers and raw materials, maintaining accurate documentation (invoices, Certificate of Origin, MSDS).
• Work with freight forwarders, shipping companies and customs agents to secure timely release of shipments.
• Lead, train and schedule the driver team, monitoring safety compliance and performance.
• Align logistics activities with Sales, Retail, Procurement and Operations requirements, supporting new store roll‑outs.
• Track logistics KPIs such as on‑time delivery, transportation cost per unit and route efficiency, and propose improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or Business Administration.
• Minimum 5 years of logistics and transportation experience, preferably in the UAE.
• Proven experience managing driver teams and field operations.
• Strong knowledge of UAE traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Excellent organisational, communication and problem‑solving abilities.
