Logistics & Warehouse Operations Manager

About the role

The Logistics & Warehouse Operations Manager will lead all warehouse and logistics activities for Abu Dhabi Airports, ensuring efficient material flow across its storage locations. This role is critical to supporting the airport’s aviation infrastructure through effective inventory control, fleet management, and safety compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and oversee receipt, inspection, storage, preservation, issuance and distribution of materials.
• Optimize warehouse space utilization and manage scrap handling, disposal and tender sales.
• Maintain vehicles, equipment and machinery, ensuring operational readiness.
• Lead, motivate and supervise warehouse and logistics staff; conduct meetings, identify training needs and monitor performance KPIs.
• Manage fleet operations and coordinate with procurement to ensure seamless material support.
• Oversee inventory documentation, ERP transactions and audit records; monitor slow‑moving and non‑moving items.
• Control budgets, statistical and financial records; evaluate outsourced service provider performance.
• Organize safety drills, promote safety awareness with HSE/AES teams and ensure compliance with HSE procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or equivalent.
• Specialized training in Supply Chain, Warehouse Management or Inventory Management.
• 7+ years of supervisory experience in warehouse operations, logistics or a related field.
• Strong practical knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics systems.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of warehouse safety systems, first aid and fire prevention practices.
